What Boolip is
Boolip is a swipe-to-play arcade. Players thumb through a feed of short games, one card at a time, on a phone held in portrait. A game gets a few seconds to earn the next swipe, and the whole product is built around wanting one more round.
What we look for
- Plays on a phone, portrait, one thumb. No landscape-only builds, no keyboard, no tutorial before the first round.
- A round in a minute or two — and a reason to immediately start another one.
- HTML5, self-contained. It has to run offline inside a sandboxed frame. Everything the game needs is bundled with it.
- No external code at runtime. No CDN scripts, no ad SDKs, no analytics or tracking, no network calls out. This is an app-store requirement for us, not a preference — a game that fetches executable code cannot ship.
- A score. Something we can put on a leaderboard and duel over.
- Yours to license. Original work you own, or work you hold clear rights to — art, audio and fonts included.
What to send
- A link where we can play it right now — a hosted web build is ideal.
- The engine or framework it is built in, and roughly how big the build is.
- Who owns it, and what kind of licence you are offering.
- One or two lines on why it is fun. Not a pitch deck.
Please don’t send source code, large attachments, or anything under NDA — and note that we can only look at something playable. We are not able to review concepts, pitches, or design documents.
What happens next
A person reads every submission. We reply only when we want to take it further, so treat silence as a no rather than as a lost email — give us up to four weeks. If we do want to go ahead, the commercial terms are a separate conversation and a separate signed agreement.
Submission terms
These terms apply to anything you send to games@boolip.com or otherwise submit to us for evaluation (a “Submission”). They exist so that both sides know exactly where they stand before anyone sends anything.
- Nothing you send is confidential. Do not send trade secrets, unreleased plans, or material covered by an NDA. We cannot accept a Submission on confidential terms, and no NDA or confidentiality notice attached to your message binds us.
- You keep your intellectual property. Sending a Submission transfers nothing. You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to receive, run, and evaluate it internally. Publishing or distributing your game on Boolip requires a separate written agreement.
- No obligation and no payment. We are under no obligation to review, respond to, use, or return a Submission, and nothing is owed for the Submission itself. Any compensation only ever comes from a signed agreement.
- Independent development. We build and license games continuously, and short arcade games converge on similar ideas. A Submission does not restrict us from developing, commissioning, or publishing anything similar that we arrived at independently, and you agree not to bring a claim on that basis alone.
- You have the rights. You confirm the Submission is yours or properly licensed to you — including every asset, font, sound, and library inside it — that it infringes nobody’s rights, and that you are legally able to offer it to us.
- It must be clean. A Submission must not contain malware, obfuscated or remotely loaded executable code, advertising or analytics SDKs, trackers, or anything that collects personal data. Content must meet the standards in our Terms of Service.
- We may delete it. We do not archive Submissions for you and may delete one at any time. Always keep your own copy.
- Acceptance and law. Sending a Submission means you accept these terms. They are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district have exclusive jurisdiction — the same as our Terms of Service, which apply alongside these.
